Chidiebere Obialor

Chidiebere “Chidi” Obialor is a corporate M&A and  investment funds lawyer with extensive experience advising  fund managers and sponsors on the structuring and  establishment of investment funds – particularly private  equity, infrastructure, and venture capital funds. He also  represents limited partners in negotiating fund terms during  capital raising. 

Chidi has advised development finance institutions,  multilateral development banks, sovereign wealth funds,  startups, and government-backed institutions on various  aspects of investment fund establishment. 

Beyond investment funds, Chidi has advised on several  complex acquisitions, divestments, merger control filings,  and internal corporate restructurings for clients across  diverse sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining Solt  Advisory, Chidi worked at an international law firm with a  strong presence in the Sub-Saharan African market.
